A Total Body test – a comprehensive whole-body bone mineral density test – gives an analysis of the body’s fat and bone composition.

A densitometer test is painless and completely harmless. An assessment of the extent of mineral loss in the bones is of vital importance not only in the early diagnosis of osteoporosis but also of osteopenia, which is the likely risk of osteoporosis, and therefore allows intensive preventive measures to be taken.

This test is also the main way of testing the effects of treatment, because bone mineral density changes under the influence of medication.
